Justine Crick
Keyboard and Backup Vocals
Justine Crick began private vocal lessons at 8 years old and studied under John Jennings for three years with a focus on vocal projection and stage presence. In both middle school and high school, she continued private lessons with Doctor Judith Carmen. Dr. Carmen mentored Justine in all aspects of solo performance and vocal health for a lifelong singer. Justine developed vocal technique, voice characteristics and artistry.
During that time, she began keyboard training in 1992 and continued lessons for three years. Justine was accepted to the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. The high school Vocal Department provided vocal training three hours a day, which incorporated theory, musicianship, choral singing, and small ensemble. She graduated in 1998.
In her college freshman year, she attended Sam Houston State University, continuing private vocal lessons through the school. She then transferred to the University of Houston where she was accepted into the Moores School of Music. She continued private vocal lessons her sophomore year, and in 2002 completed a Bachelors of Arts in Music.
Justine Crick has been a soloist performer at Holy Cross Lutheran Church since 1990. She began playing keyboard and singing backup vocals with Kennedy Bakery in 2009.
